Soccer 6's

 

Is there any better feeling than the smell of freshly cut grass as you hit the field for your weekly soccer game? Join HSSC for Field Soccer 6’s this Sprummer and enjoy the beautiful spring and summer weather.

This fast-paced, high-energy game is a great way to fit exercise into your week and meet new people!

 

Grab your friends and register a team, or sign up as an individual and compete for the HSSC Championship T-Shirts and trophy!

 


Sprummer 2020 Details:

Start / End Dates

Sunday:  Starts Sunday, May 31 and ends on Sunday, September 13.

Tuesday: 
Starts Tuesday, June 2 and ends on Tuesday, September 8.

Wednesday: Starts Wednesday, June 3 and ends on Wednesday, September 9.

Thursday: Starts Thursday, June 4 and ends on Thursday, September 10.

# of Weeks

Sunday & Wednesday Leagues:  14 weeks (12 weeks of regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs).

Tuesday & Thursday Leagues: 15 weeks (13 weeks of regular season + 2 weeks of playoffs).

Estimated Game Times

Game length is 90 minutes.

Weekday: Game start times are 6:30pm. 

Weekend:  Game start times will rotate between 12:00pm - 4:00pm.

Please note:  In the event games are rescheduled, weekend and off-night games may be played.

Sunset Time Adjustment:  During the final few weeks of the season, days get shorter and HSSC games may be shifted earlier to accommodate.
Price Sunday/Wednesday Team: $745 + HST.
Tuesday/Thursday Team: $805 + HST. 

After checkout, send your teammates roster invites through the website (under "My Team" player list) so they can accept the waiver and access the schedule and standings once it is posted.   

Sunday/Wednesday Individual: $120 + HST.
Tuesday/Thursday Individual: $125 + HST.

You will be placed on a roster of individuals by end of day Tuesday, May 26th. For ease of communication with our office, teams must select a captain and co-captain on our website to represent your individuals team.

What you need to know about Soccer:

# of players on court

6 players (5 players and 1 keeper, minimum 2 males and 2 females)

Suggested roster/individuals roster size

8-10 players

Equipment

Teams are required to bring their own ball, cones, and Kickster net and may rent this equipment at the HSSC Equipment Pickup Locations scheduled at the beginning of the season.

 

A refundable deposit is required and payable with credit card, cheque or online registration at the time of league registration and in your shopping cart (see dates for team package & equipment pick-up).  

$150 (for soccer ball, 6 cones and kickster net)

$100 (for kickster net)

$50 (for soccer ball and 6 cones) 

Additional league information

All teams receive:

  • An HSSC key tag which gives you access to discounts and deals from our amazing sponsors and partners around town! See all the deals!
  • An invitation to the HSSC end of season party and a chance to win amazing prizes on-site! An event NOT to be missed!

Winning teams in each pool and division will receive (post-season):

  • A personalized team trophy
  • Coveted HSSC champion team t-shirts!

 

Rules

Please refer to the sport rules page to view league rules.  It is the responsibility of all players to read and understand the sport specific rules as well as the general rules & club policies.

Score & Spirit Point Reporting

  • Game Scores (account for 75% of total points): Team captains are responsible for reporting the scores after your game by logging into your player profile and clicking on ‘My Team’ tab and selecting ‘Report Score/Spirit Points’.  Teams have a 48 hour window to report scores after the completion of the game.  Please be timely with your score reporting so league standings can remain updated for playoff positioning.
  • Spirit Points (account for 25% of total points): Spirit points are awarded to a team from their opponent after each game to encourage sportsmanship, honesty, integrity and fair play.  For more information and how to properly award spirit points, please see our section ‘All About Spirit Points’.

All games will be played within 25km of the downtown core.
