Fall Reading Series (Book Club)

Join the Sport & Social Club in our Fall Reading Series!

We're featuring a mix of fiction and non-fiction novels this season.

Each month we feature a new book and host a virtual meet-up where you'll get together with others reading the same book and work through discussions with your Book Club Host, Karley, over Zoom.

During the monthly meet-up, we will discuss the book, talk about your opinions and where the author may of been coming from.  You will spend about 40-minutes discussing, and 20-minutes doing an activity related to the book you are reading.

Each book club meet-up is just $5.00, choose from the list below and register for the sessions that resonate with you.  After all, there is nothing better than a fall spent reading in front of the fire!

Book Club attendees are required to purchase, rent or download the book at their own cost.

All you need is a wi-fi enabled device, access to Zoom and of course, your own space to read.

Everyone welcome!

Registration deadline is three days prior to each meet-up!

In preparation for a potential vaccine passport implementation in Nova Scotia, Please be advised that the Sport & Social Club (SSC) is required to follow all Provincial Health Orders which may include the requirement for all players to be partially or fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to participate in SSC leagues. At this time, some facility (i.e., university/college, school boards, public, private, etc.) requirements for vaccination will impact a player’s eligibility to play. Players who do not meet these conditions should register for SSC activities at their own discretion. Refunds and credits will not be provided to teams and/or players who are not eligible to participate due to these regulations. Captains are reminded to share this information with all players ahead of registration.
