Virtual Cooking Classes


Join the Egg Farmers of Ontario & the Sport & Social Club in this NEW 4-week virtual live Cooking Class. 

 Have you recently fallen in love with cooking?  Find yourself making more meals at home now that restaurants and parties are put on hold?


With a focus on egg recipes, now is the best time to master your cooking skills and learn recipes that will keep you coming back for more.


Our Virtual Cooking Class allows you to follow along in the comfort of your own kitchen, as Chef Geraldine takes you through the recipe, prep, and cooking methods of one meal per evening.


Because we are cooking live, you'll have the chance to ask questions to the Chef, or just socialize with the other home cooks on the ZOOM call.  You will even have time at the end of the class to try your meals and discuss what went right (or wrong) along the way!   


This class has been designed specifically for the Sport & Social Club in partnership with the Egg Farmers of Ontario.  Chef Geraldine will present recipes that are easy to follow, don't require any "crazy kitchen tools", and feature ingredients that are easily attainable at the grocery store no matter where you live.


All you need is a wi-fi enabled device, access to Zoom and of course, your own kitchen and groceries to cook.

Wednesday Nights: Starts Wednesday, April 28th and ends Wednesday, May 19th, 2021.

Each session is 4 weeks.

Class Times

The live virtual class will start at 8:00pm AST.

Each class is 1 hour in length.

Participants are asked to join the zoom "waiting room" at least 5 minutes early to allow for a prompt class start.


Individual Registration: $60.00 + HST.

Meals / Menu

  • Western Egg Bagel Sandwich (learn to make the bagel from scratch!)
  • Moroccan Puffed Omlette 
  • White Chocolate & Orange Pudding 
  • Mushroom, Asparagus and Goat Cheese Tart 


A Welcome Letter, with a zoom link and any other information will be provided 2 days prior to the first class.

About your Instructor

Meet Chef Geraldine Brown 

Geraldine has been cooking for the past eleven years.  She studied at George Brown College in Toronto, and has been working at a Toronto-based company as a Catering Chef ever since.

Geraldine brings a unique perspective having cooked for parties of 2 to 200 people. Her specialty is creating fast, tasty meals that are easy and fun to prepare. 

As a Catering Chef, she is able to adapt to different cooking situations, given the distinct task of cooking in unfamiliar environments (other people’s home kitchens).  During our live virtual Cooking Classes, she will be able to answer all of your home entertaining questions that you might have, as she also enjoys hosting dinner parties in her home.

Geraldine is a Cooking Instructor as well, having also taught cooking classes at a Toronto Based Cooking School.   She has also taught previous Virtual Cooking Classes with the Sport & Social Club this year.

Participant Conduct & Sportsmanship Expectations

All participants are expected to follow SSC sportsmanship expectations. Any unsportsmanlike conduct may result in immediate expulsion from the class. 

The following actions are prohibited:
  • All elements of verbal abuse; harassing, threatening, bullying, or doing anything else to another members that is unwanted.
  • Making personal attacks or statements about race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc.


Participants are required to have the following:
  • Laptop, tablet, or mobile device
  • Access to the internet
  • Your kitchen and kitchen equipment
  • Groceries as per the Cooking Class Shopping List 



It is the responsibility of all participants to read and understand the general rules & club policies.


All classes will be held virtually over Zoom. Participants will receive a link to join the Zoom call in advance. Requirements include: access to an internet connection and Zoom on a computer or an alternative device.
