Stand Up Paddle (SUP) - Intro + Explore

Get your feet wet with the world's fastest growing water sport - Stand Up Paddling (SUP)!


This class is ideal for those interested in experiencing more with this super fun sport. Through the 4-week session we cover how to balance and paddle efficiently, learn different types of strokes and freestyle moves all on calm sheltered waters.  We have partnered with SUP Yoga Halifax to bring you this unique program.

The coast of Nova Scotia has beautiful scenery which you will be able to explore while on the water (not to mention taking advantage of some fantastic selfie opportunities)!

COVID-19 PROTOCOL

All participants must adhere to physical distancing procedures and safety protocols when on site. 

Note: Participants are encouraged to bring their own Personal Floating Device (life jacket).


The Registration Deadline for Session 4 (August) is Sunday, August 1st at Midnight!

We are committed to providing the highest levels of safety for our community. 

To ensure the protection of all members and staff, we have implemented Safe Return to Play Guidelines for all Club Activities, modifications for each sport/activity as well as enhanced facility protocols.

Start/End Dates

Session 1 - Monday:  Starts Monday, June 7 and ends Monday, June 28. SOLD OUT

Session 2 - Monday: 
Starts Monday, July 5 and ends Monday, July 26. SOLD OUT

Session 3 - Wednesday: Starts Wednesday, July 7 and ends Wednesday, July 28. SOLD OUT

Session 4 - Thursday:  Starts Thursday, August 5 and ends Thursday, August 26 SPOTS AVAILABLE!

Class Times

6:30pm - 8:00pm. 

Please arrive 15 minutes early to the class. 

The instructor will provide information in the event of inclement weather.
