Not good at making decisions? Can't decide on just one sport? This league offers you a rotation of futsal, volleyball, basketball and dodgeball!  Variety is the spice of life!

2 Skills Divisions to choose from:  
Recreational and Intermediate

Start/end dates

Tuesday: Starts Tuesday, January 16 and ends Tuesday, April 10.  

Make Up Games: Will be played during March Break (March 12-16th)

# of weeks

12 weeks (10 weeks regular season + 2 playoff games) 


Team registration: $690 + HST.

After checkout, send your teammates roster invites through the website (under "My Team" player list) so they can accept the waiver and access the schedule and standings.  

Individual registration: $120 + HST.

You will be placed on a team of individuals once payment has been received. Rosters will be available by  midnight Tuesday, January 9. For ease of communication with our office, teams must select a captain and co-captain to represent your individuals team. You can do this through the website. 

Estimated game times

Rotating start times between 6pm and 10pm.  There will be a very limited number of 10pm games.

Game length is 55 minutes. 

Note: Every effort is made to equalize the start times and game locations.

Meet & Greet the HSSC office staff while picking up your team newsletter, key tags and equipment!


  • Saturday, January 13:  9am-12pm at Shambhala School Halifax
    ($5 Dodgeball Drop-In available from 10am-12pm at Shambhala)
  • Sunday, January 14:  9am-12pm at East Dartmouth Community Centre
  • Monday, January 15: 5pm-8pm at Armbrae Academy

Your team newsletter includes detailed information about the league and your HSSC key tags provide you with excellent details with our HSSC Partners

*Please select one person per team to pick-up your team package.

Individual registrants: After January 9th, we ask that all individual players contact their teammates through our website (you can log in, click on "My Team", then "Player List") to confirm who will be responsible for picking up your equipment & team package.

Schedules will be posted online by end of day Friday, January 12th

Individual team rosters will be posted online by midnight Tuesday, January 9th

All teams receive:

At the Wrap Party, winning teams in each pool and division will receive:

  • A personalized team trophy
  • Coveted HSSC champion team t-shirts!

*Please refer to each respective sport league for rules associated with each sport. Teams are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves for the rules for each sport.

As per the league details tab, all equipment will be provided at the game location. 

SPIRIT POINTSAn integral part of all the sports that the Halifax Sport & Social Club offers. It is based on the primary focus of the HSSC, which is sportsmanship and to have FUN...NOT on competitive and aggressive sport.


All HSSC games will be played within a 20km radius of the downtown core.

All-Sorts-of-Sports facilities include (but not limited to): Canada Games Centre, Ian Forsyth Elementary School, Gorsebrook Jr High, Shambhala School, George Dixon Community Centre and Sacred Heart
